New Delhi: Controversy may once again arise regarding Delhi CM residence. PWD has put a lock on it. Earlier, the Vigilance Department has issued a notice regarding the keys. The day Kejriwal vacated the house, Sunita Kejriwal gave the keys of the house to an employee. After that the keys should have been given to PWD, which was not found. The department has issued a notice regarding this. Now Aam Aadmi Party has made a big claim in this matter. The party says that the Lieutenant Governor has got all the belongings of Chief Minister Atishi removed from the CM House. The CM residence has been locked by PWD.
Earlier in the notice, PWD has said that after Kejriwal’s resignation and vacating the bungalow, the bungalow was to be handed over to PWD. The matter of irregularities done in the construction of this bungalow is still under investigation. Officials may have to make a list of the things present inside the bungalow. After vacating the bungalow, its keys should have been given to the department.
A statement has been issued by the Chief Minister’s Office in this matter. It has been said that for the first time in the history of the country, a Chief Minister’s residence has been vacated. At the behest of BJP, LG has forcibly removed CM Atishi’s belongings from the residence. LG is preparing to allot CM residence to a big BJP leader. BJP, which has been in exile in Delhi for 27 years, is now trying to occupy the CM residence.
Atishi has become the Chief Minister of Delhi but she has not been allotted a residence yet. Sanjay Singh has attacked BJP regarding this. He says that BJP wants to occupy the CM residence. I am saying this because even when Kejriwal vacated the residence, they had spread propaganda. As the Chief Minister, Atishi had to move to that residence. But, that residence is not being allotted to her.
Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta had accused CM Atishi of living in the bungalow illegally. He had said that the CM residence should be sealed. Let us tell you that on Monday, CM Atishi arrived to live in this bungalow with her belongings. Kejriwal lived in this bungalow for 9 years. He vacated it after resigning from the post of Chief Minister. He says that the bungalow has not been handed over to the Public Works Department. Its keys are still with Kejriwal. However, the Aam Aadmi Party is rejecting this claim. He said in a post, Atishi has already been allotted AB-17 bungalow on Mathura Road.
