Decision to build monkeypox ward in Indore, preparations started

Indore: Sensing the increasing threat of monkeypox across the country, the Health Department of Madhya Pradesh has taken a tough step. The monkeypox ward will be built in Indore’s Manorama Raje TB Hospital. All arrangements will be made to treat monkeypox patients in this ward. The hospital department said that this ward will have all the necessary medical facilities. About five beds and necessary medicines to avoid the virus will be kept in stock in this ward.

If the threat of monkeypox increases, then separate staff will be kept in this ward for the treatment of patients. Apart from this, these staff will be given separate training for the symptoms, treatment and care of patients of monkeypox.

No case of monkeypox virus has been seen in Indore so far. But its cases are being seen in many states of the country. Therefore, Indore has already completed its preparations to avoid the virus. According to the information of experts, monkeypox virus spreads very fast.

The threat of this virus is increasing in the country. The health department has already started preparing so that the situation in Madhya Pradesh does not worsen. Along with this, the main hospitals of the city have also been ordered to remain on alert. An order has also been given to check the stock of essential medicines in the main hospital.
