Kolhapur: A ‘miraculous incident’ has come to light from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It happened that a 65-year-old man Pandurang Ulpe died of a heart attack. The doctors in the hospital had declared him dead. The family members were bringing the body of the old man home in an ambulance so that they could take it to the crematorium after the last rites. Meanwhile, when the ambulance passed through a speed breaker, the people sitting in the ambulance along with the dead body got a shock and saw that the old man Pandurang, who was declared dead, suddenly started breathing.
To sum up, a speed breaker on the road proved to be a life saver for 65-year-old Pandurang Ulpe. When an ambulance carrying his ‘dead body’ from the hospital crossed the breaker and his family saw that his fingers were moving. On December 16, Ulpe, a resident of Kasaba-Bavda in Kolhapur district of western Maharashtra, suffered a heart attack during the day and was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead.
An ambulance was then carrying his ‘body’ from the hospital to his home where neighbours and relatives had gathered to prepare for his funeral after hearing the news of his demise. Meanwhile, Pandurang came ‘alive’. Pandurang Ulpe’s wife said, when we were bringing his ‘body’ home from the hospital, the ambulance passed a speed breaker and we saw that his fingers were moving. He was then taken back to another hospital where he stayed for about 15 days and during this time he underwent angioplasty. Ulpe returned home from the hospital on Monday on foot.
