Conspiracy to overturn train in Kanpur once again, small gas cylinder found on railway track, major accident averted

Kanpur: A conspiracy to blow up a train has once again come to light in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A small gas cylinder has been found on the railway track in Kanpur Dehat district, which could have caused a major accident after hitting it. Recently, a conspiracy was hatched to overturn the Kalindi Express in Kanpur. For this, an LPG cylinder was placed on the railway track. Apart from this, petrol and gunpowder were also recovered near the railway line.

According to the information, a small LPG cylinder was found on the railway track near Perambur railway station of Prayagraj division of Northern Central Railway. The goods train was about to pass from here when the loco pilot stopped the goods train before that, due to which a major accident was averted. The place where the gas cylinder was found on the railway track falls in Kanpur Dehat district.

Conspiracy to blow up Kalindi Express in Kanpur itself
On the night of September 8, at around 8.30 pm, a conspiracy to blow up the Kalindi Express train by blasting it in Kanpur came to light. Kalindi Express going from Prayagraj to Bhiwani collided with LPG cylinders kept on the railway track. After that a loud sound was also heard. Not only this, a bottle filled with petrol and matchsticks along with gunpowder were also found at the spot. After which this incident is being investigated from the angle of terrorist conspiracy.

Cement blocks placed on railway track to derail goods train in Ajmer
Soon after this incident, a conspiracy to overturn a goods train came to light on September 10 in Ajmer, Rajasthan. An attempt was made to derail the goods train by placing two blocks of cement weighing about 70 kg on the railway track in Sardhana, Ajmer. Fortunately, the train broke the cement block and moved ahead and no major accident occurred. An FIR has been lodged in the police station regarding this.

22 coaches of Sabarmati Express were derailed
Earlier on the night of August 17, 22 coaches of Kanpur-Jhansi route Sabarmati Express (19168) along with the engine had derailed. This train was going from Varanasi to Ahmedabad. The driver of the train that met with the accident had said that the accident happened due to a boulder hitting the engine because as soon as the boulder hit the engine, the cattle guard of the engine got badly bent. This accident is being investigated.
