Indore: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave a big gift to the people of the state in Indore on Saturday. The CM said that the Madhya Pradesh government is continuously working towards women empowerment. Taking a decision in this direction, the 33 percent reservation given to sisters has been increased to 35 percent. Madhya Pradesh has become the first state in the country to give 35 percent reservation to sisters in government services.
The CM said that today the November installment of Rs 1250 is being sent to 1 crore 29 crore Ladli sisters of the state from Indore. Rs 1573 crore will be given to the accounts of 1 crore 29 lakh Ladli sisters. Along with this, an amount of Rs 55 crore will be transferred to 26 lakh sisters for cylinder refill. An amount of Rs 333 crore will also be deposited in the accounts of 55 lakh social security pension beneficiaries. Laptops, motorized tricycles and other assistive devices will also be distributed to the disabled.
