CM Eknath Shinde’s MP son accused of breaking rules of Mahakal temple

Ujjain: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s MP son Shrikant Shinde has been accused of breaking the rules of Mahakal temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Shrikant Shinde is accused of going to the sanctum sanctorum with his wife and two companions and worshipping despite the ban. When the uproar over the matter started increasing, the administration said that they will take appropriate action in the matter and if anyone is found guilty, he will not be spared.

Photos and videos of Shrikant Shinde and his companions entering the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, who had come to Ujjain Mahakal Darshan, have surfaced. According to the information, all of them (MP Shrikant Shinde, his wife and two others) were seen entering the sanctum sanctorum at 5:38 pm. All four of them sat near the Shivling and worshipped during the decoration of Lord Mahakal. This video is also going viral on social media.

According to the rules, entry of any devotee in the sanctum sanctorum of Mahakal temple has been banned for the last one year. Only priests are allowed to enter here. There are rules for devotees and pilgrims that they can have darshan from a distance of 50 feet from Mahakaleshwar Shivling. It is being told that this is the fourth time in 4 months, when a VIP has broken the rules of the temple.
