Chanderi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has made a big announcement today on the occasion of Janmashtami. Chanderi in Ashok Nagar district has been declared a pilgrimage tourist destination. CM Mohan said that there was a demand from the people that Chanderi should be declared a pilgrimage tourist destination. The CM declared Chanderi as a pilgrimage tourist destination from the stage. He also said that Gita Bhawans will be built all over the state.
On the day of Janmashtami, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the historical city of Chanderi in Ashoknagar district. The Chief Minister, who reached the Weavers Park from the helipad, met the weavers and listened to their problems. Let us tell you that the Chief Minister did digital Bhoomi Pujan of works worth ₹ 2.60 crore and digital inauguration of development works worth ₹ 11.33 crore for the development of Chanderi. Along with this, the Chief Minister distributed benefits to the beneficiary sisters under various schemes.

He said that wherever Lord Krishna’s feet have fallen, those places will be developed as pilgrimage sites, which also includes Chanderi. Apart from this, the Chief Minister announced to build a new hall in Chanderi and to construct Gita Bhawan in every urban body of the state. The Chief Minister also announced to provide an incentive of Rs 4 lakh to mountaineer daughter Muskan. Along with this, a plan to open a new college in Naya Sarai after testing was also announced.
