Indore Deputy Commissioner of Police IPS Vinod Kumar Meena said that strict instructions have been given by the Police Commissioner that strict action should be taken against those who create ruckus under the guise of New Year celebrations. The checking campaign will be intensified by the police department from Monday evening itself. According to Ujjain SP Pradeep Kumar Sharma, the youth immersed in celebrations on New Year often drive vehicles in a drunken state. Such people may have to celebrate New Year in jail. According to the Superintendent of Police, it is necessary for those who travel with vehicles on New Year to keep documents with them at the time of driving. Apart from this, the vehicles of those carrying three passengers on a two-wheeler will also be confiscated. Not only this, other vehicles should also be driven with overloaded passengers.
