Kathmandu: A bus suddenly fell into the Marsyangdi river in Nepal’s Tanahu district, after which there was commotion. It was told that this bus had number plate of Uttar Pradesh and 40 passengers were travelling in it. So far 14 bodies have been recovered.
Tanahu District Police Office DSP Deep Kumar Rai said that the bus with UP FT 7623 number plate fell into the river and is lying on the river bank. At present, the work of rescuing the passengers is going on. It was told that the bus was going from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
This accident happened in Aina Pahara of Tanahua district. Rescue work is going on since the accident. As soon as the information about the accident was received, a team of 45 Armed Police Force personnel led by Senior Superintendent of Police Madhav Poudel from Armed Police Force Nepal Disaster Management Training School has already reached the accident site.
