Under this, the limit of affordable housing for metro cities can be increased from 45 lakhs to 70 lakhs and for the rest of the cities this limit can be made to 50 lakhs. At the same time, the tax exemption on the interest of home loan can also be increased from 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs. Through these concessions, the government can meet the shortage of 1 crore affordable houses in India, which is estimated to increase to 3.12 crore by 2030.
7. Buying mobile will become cheaper!
Apart from these main announcements, the government can open the box of many types of concessions in this year’s budget, the main ones among which are reducing the import duty on parts related to consumer electronics to make mobiles cheaper, increasing the import duty on gold and silver to reduce the trade deficit by reducing gold imports, increasing the scope of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, increasing the pension amount in Atal Pension Yojana, creating an International Mobility Authority to get jobs abroad and helping startups to improve skills and create employment.
