Big decisions in MP cabinet meeting, big change in transport policy, general public will benefit

Bhopal: Today, on the first Tuesday of April, a cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in which many important decisions were taken. To give progress and speed to the cities of Madhya Pradesh, a big change has been approved especially in the public transport policy. This will benefit both the government and the general public. Apart from this, decisions have been taken on many important proposals.

Let us tell you that the state transport service was closed in the Digvijay government, the reason for which was huge loss, on which this can be a big step to improve. In the cabinet meeting, the name of CM Rice School was changed to Sandipani. To make women empowered and self-reliant in the state, a gift of Rs 284 crore has been given by the central government for the construction of hostels for working women in the industrial sector.

In order to make Madhya Pradesh the year of industry in 2025, a conclave of the IT sector will be held in Indore on April 27, in which more than 200 companies from the country and the world will arrive. All the industries of MSME have received subsidy. The subsidy given to big industries has been given. Under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan started from Ujjain, we will revive the water body in which all the departments of the state will work in this direction. Wheat procurement is going on in the state. The rate of wheat in the manifesto was 2700, we have started from 2600. Along with this, the School Chalo Abhiyan was started which will run from 1 to 4 April.

Discussing the public transport service of MP in the meeting, CM Mohan Yadav said that the state transport service was closed in the Digvijay government, after which we have made an ambitious transport policy under which the MP government will no longer buy buses but will operate buses using IT under the PPP model by forming a holding company.

An advisory committee will be formed to advise the holding company. To prevent theft, it will be mandatory to take a ticket which will be issued through software. Let us tell you that now buses will be operated in the state under the name of Chief Minister Sugam Parivahan Seva, which will make travel easier in rural areas and private operators will operate it. Along with this, cargo service is also being started.

Let us tell you that before the cabinet meeting, many changes were seen in MP, out of which, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the “School Chalen Hum” campaign – 2025. Along with this, liquor sale has been banned in 19 religious towns and gram panchayats of Madhya Pradesh from today. Along with this, buying property in the state will become more expensive from today. Apart from this, toll tax has increased from April 1, due to which the journey from Bhopal to Indore has become even more expensive.
