Army’s new preparation on LAC, patrolling with ATV to keep an eye on China’s nefarious intentions

New Delhi: Indian Army has made preparations for winter on the Line of Actual Control along Ladakh. The army is going to use all-terrain vehicles for patrolling and surveillance in snowy and difficult areas. A video of which has been released by the Army’s Fire and Fury Corps on its X handle.

These ATVs have been made to run in any kind of geographical conditions in the world. One of these is also deployed in Kutch, Gujarat. These ATVs include – Polaris Sportsman, Polaris RZR and JSW-Gecko ATOR. They can climb, walk and run on any kind of difficult climb, slope, rocky paths.

The LAC area near Ladakh is a snow-covered war zone. To keep an eye here, it is necessary that Indian soldiers have modern weapons, uniforms, vehicles and other facilities. These vehicles are lightweight and have been built for high mobility. Their maneuvering is very easy. They can run on any kind of road.

Patrolling started after a long time
After the withdrawal of Indo-Chinese forces from the Depsang plains and Demchok area, these vehicles were included so that patrolling could be done faster and longer. This patrolling has started after a long dispute. Therefore, the need for such vehicles increases, which can take soldiers on such dangerous routes.

The army said – ATVs are very important
Through these, the Indian Army will be able to deploy its soldiers at the right place when needed. Surveillance will be possible quickly. Surveillance will be possible. Soldiers will be able to reach strategic points and their bases in any kind of weather. The army also believes that due to these vehicles, patrolling has become easier near the Line of Actual Control. If any kind of problem arises, then with their help one can reach anywhere immediately.
