Announcement of creation of five new districts in Ladakh, Amit Shah tweeted

New Delhi: The central government has announced the creation of five new districts in Ladakh. Their names will be Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra and Changthang. Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted, ‘In view of PM Narendra Modi’s vision to build a developed and prosperous Ladakh, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to create five new districts in the Union Territory.

The new districts will be Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra and Changthang. We will take the benefits to the people at their doorstep by strengthening governance in every nook and corner. The Modi government is committed to creating every possible opportunity for the people of Ladakh.
