Jhunjhunu. A shocking case has come to light in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. Here a person was declared dead after post-mortem. His body was kept in a deep freezer for four hours, but when the body was given for cremation, the dead person was seen breathing, after which there was a stir. Three doctors who were negligent in this case have been suspended.
A disabled and mentally deranged person named Rohitash was living in Maa Seva Sansthan in Baggad, Jhunjhunu. On Thursday morning, he was brought to the emergency of the government BDK hospital in an unconscious state for treatment, where the doctor declared Rohitash dead. After that the body was shifted to the mortuary of BDK hospital.
About two hours later, the post-mortem of the body was done and handed over to the institute for cremation, but while taking it for cremation, the dead Rohitash came alive. Rohitash was brought to the hospital in a hurry. Where he has been shifted to the ICU.
The Tehsildar and SHO investigated the matter
On receiving information about this shocking incident, the government sent the Tehsildar and Bagad police station officer to the hospital for investigation. The CCTV cameras installed in the hospital were turned around. District Collector Ramavatar Meena considered it a serious negligence and sent the entire report to the Health Department, where the government took action against the guilty doctors late at night.
Three doctors suspended, departmental investigation started
After the report of the District Collector, action has been taken against three doctors. BDK Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sandeep Pachar, Dr. Yogesh Jakhar and Dr. Navneet Meel have been suspended. Regarding this, orders have been issued by the Joint Secretary of the Health Department. During the suspension period, Dr. Sandeep Pachar’s headquarters has been made CMHO office Jaisalmer, Dr. Yogesh Jakhar’s headquarters has been made CMHO office Barmer in border areas as punishment, while Dr. Navneet Meel’s headquarters during the suspension period will be CMHO office Jalore. A departmental inquiry has been initiated against the three doctors including the PMO of BDK Hospital.
