Indore. Posters have been put up in Bhopal and Indore against former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Rajya Sabha member Digvijay Singh for opposing the changes in the Wakf Law. In which he has been described as a traitor of the country, religion and ancestors. Now a controversy has erupted over these posters and the Congress party has also expressed its objection to these posters. On Friday, while complaining to the police about this, Congress leaders demanded that it take strict action against the people who put up these posters.

Actually, the posters put up against Digvijay Singh have printed – ‘Digvijay Singh who opposes the Wakf Bill’. In the poster, Digvijay Singh’s picture has also been stamped with a seal on which is printed – ‘Vatan ke, Dharm ke, Anuprto ke Gaddar’. The name of ‘Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Indore Mahanagar’ is printed as the printer below these posters put up in Indore. Whereas the name of the printer in Bhopal is not written.

Indore city Congress president Surjeet Singh Chaddha told about this matter that he has complained to Chhatripura police station against this poster put up at Mhow Naka intersection. He said, ‘The police should take strict action against the people who put up such objectionable posters against Digvijay Singh.’

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha city unit president Saugat Mishra said, ‘Waqf (Amendment) Act 2025 is a historic law of the country. There is anger among the common people and our workers about the stand of Digvijay Singh and other Congress leaders on this subject because these leaders never talk about national interest.’
