‘You have a lot of influence, get me arrested…’, when two TMC MPs clashed with each other

New Delhi: BJP IT cell in-charge Amit Malviya has claimed in a social media post that there was an argument between TMC leaders Kalyan Banerjee and Kirti Azad. Sharing the WhatsApp chat in a social media post, he claimed, “On April 4, two TMC MPs had a public fight at the Election Commission of India headquarters, where they had gone to submit a memorandum. It seems that the party had instructed its MPs to gather at the Parliament office to sign the memorandum before going to the Election Commission.”

Amit Malviya claimed, “The MP who carried the memorandum did not attend the Parliament meeting and went straight to the Election Commission. This angered another MP, who confronted him when they came face to face at the commission. This was followed by a heated exchange in which both of them started shouting at each other. The matter escalated so much that one of the MPs asked the police personnel present there to intervene. The matter quickly escalated and reached Mamata Banerjee, who reportedly asked both the MPs to calm down.”

Amit Malviya further claimed that the feud did not end here. It also spread to the ‘AITC MP 2024’ WhatsApp group, where both sides put forth their views and took digs at each other. Amidst all this, the question still remains who is that ‘versatile international woman’? This mystery is for the world to solve.

What is in the WhatsApp chat?

Amit Malviya shared a WhatsApp chat on social media, which he claimed was a debate between Kalyan Banerjee and Kirti Azad. The first message in the chat is in the name of Kalyan Banerjee, in which he writes, “I have reached Kolkata. You send your BSF and Delhi Police to arrest me. You have a good connection with the Home Ministry and the International Great Lady. Today I also congratulate the gentleman who exposed the beautiful activities of the International Great Lady. At that time, it was not only her boyfriend who was standing behind her.” The chat further read, “This foolish man, whom she wanted to get arrested by the BSF, was standing behind her. Today, of course, a 30-year-old famous player was standing behind her to get me arrested.”

After this, in the second part of the chat, a message comes from the handle named Kirti Azad, “Relax Kalyan. Don’t behave like a child. Didi has shown a lot of trust in you and has given you the responsibility of taking everyone along. So relax and sleep peacefully. I have no problem with you, I request you that you cannot take everyone along in politics. Talk like a sensible person, don’t do childish things. Think with a cool mind. Good night.” After this, once again a message comes from a handle named Kalyan Banerjee, “Kirti, don’t give me advice. You were expelled from BJP due to internal politics. You are not senior to me. You want to sell the party. You are still the captain of internal politics. Show your power by getting me arrested for your friend. Don’t worry, I will go to Durgapur and expose you. I have taken leave from responsibilities since 2011. You joined the party as per a plan when the party was in power.”
