Pakistan: Bodies found in Jaffar Express being sent to Quetta hospitals, roads blocked

New Delhi: Bodies and injured have been brought to hospitals in Quetta after the Baloch Liberation Army captured the Jaffar Express near Bolan Pass in Balochistan, Pakistan. Security has been tightened at Quetta Civil Hospital and CMH and nearby roads have been closed.

According to the agency, a Balochistan Railway official said, “On Thursday morning, 25 bodies were taken by train from the site of the attack to the nearby city of Machh.”

According to the report, a government official on condition of anonymity said, “The identities of the deceased have been revealed, which include 19 military passengers, a policeman and a railway official, while four bodies have not been identified yet.”


Meanwhile, a senior local military official monitoring the operation confirmed the information received about the dead. Contrary to the claims of government and military officials, the death toll is being reported to be higher. According to sources, most of those who lost their lives are military and government employees.

According to ISPR, the operation has been completed and all the attackers have been killed. At the same time, all the hostages have been rescued. On the other hand, the Baloch Liberation Army said that the train and military personnel are still in their possession and fierce clashes are going on in the area.
