Muzaffarnagar: After Sambhal, a 54-year-old ancient Shiva temple has been found in a Muslim-dominated area in Muzaffarnagar, UP. This ruined Shiva temple was purified by Swami Yashveer Maharaj. Hundreds of people were present there on this occasion, who offered prayers in the temple. During this, strict security arrangements were made there.
Let us tell you that this temple had turned into ruins years ago and no worship was being done in it. On the call of Swami Yashveer Maharaj, the local society resolved to revive this temple and organized a formal purification ceremony on Monday.
Worship in the temple
During the purification, Vedic mantras and special worship rituals were performed. The devotees present there made it worship-worthy once again by pouring Gangajal and milk in the temple. Swami Yashveer Maharaj said that now regular worship and religious events will be held in this temple.
Muslim community showered flowers on devotees
The special thing about this purification ceremony was that people from the Muslim community also participated in it. They showered flowers on the devotees and gave their best wishes. This gave the message of brotherhood and unity between the two communities.
Regarding this, a local elderly Muslim man said that we are happy to get the temple, people come here and worship, we have no problem with this, we have told our youth to welcome those who come here. The Hindu community expressed their gratitude to the Muslim community for this gesture.
Many generations have seen this temple in ruins
A local devotee excited about this event said, ‘Many of our generations have seen this temple as ruins, today it is a matter of pride and happiness to see it revived.’ Local people say that now regular worship will be done in this temple and it will be developed as a spiritual center.
