New Delhi: After the Election Commission gave the name and election symbol of Shiv Sena to the faction of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, there was a lot of tug-of-war between the Uddhav faction and the Shinde faction for quite some time regarding movable and immovable assets.
Now Eknath Shinde has shown a big heart in this matter
Who will have control over the party’s properties and bank accounts? Eknath Shinde has now decided to end the tussle between the Shinde faction and the Uddhav faction regarding this. Giving relief to Shiv Sena UBT, which is facing financial crisis after the split, Shinde has decided not to claim the money deposited in the Shiv Sena’s bank account before 2022.
Shinde faction gave information about Uddhav
This will set a new example in the era of political bitterness. The Shiv Sena of the Shinde faction has decided that whatever amount is in the bank before 2022 will not be claimed. That is, the Shiv Sena of the Uddhav faction will get the money that was deposited in the bank account opened in the name of Shiv Sena before 2022. According to sources, the Shiv Sena of the Shinde group has informed Shiv Sena UBT about this.
When Shiv Sena broke up after the rebellion
Let us tell you that about two and a half years ago on 20 June 2022, Eknath Shinde and 39 MLAs of his faction rebelled against Shiv Sena and formed the government by forming an alliance with BJP. Shinde was made the CM. Devendra Fadnavis became the Deputy CM. The Uddhav faction first gave notice to the Speaker under the anti-defection law. Then the matter reached the Supreme Court and both the factions filed petitions demanding disqualification of each other’s MLAs. Later, the Shinde faction got the recognition of the real Shiv Sena and they also got the election symbol.
