New Delhi: Former Deputy Prime Ministers of the country and senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani is still admitted in ICU. He is being treated in the ICU of Apollo Hospitals in Delhi. There is no improvement in Advani’s health. He has many diseases related to old age.
Advani’s health deteriorated on Saturday. After this, he was immediately admitted to the hospital. His health remains critical due to muscle growth in urine. Currently, he is under the supervision of doctors of Apollo Hospital. Lal Krishna Advani ji was not well for the last two weeks.
He was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo on Saturday. He is being treated under the supervision of Dr. Vineet Suri, senior neurologist of Apollo Hospital. On Saturday, Union Health Minister JP Nadda also spoke to Advani ji’s family and doctor. LK Advani is 97 years old. In the last 4-5 months, he has been admitted to the hospital for the fourth time due to deteriorating health. Earlier, he was admitted to the hospital in the month of August.
LK Advani has been facing health problems for some time now. Due to his health, now the veteran BJP leader stays at his residence and does not participate in public programs. Advani was also awarded the country’s highest honor Bharat Ratna this year, but due to poor health, he could not even reach to receive the honor, due to which President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi themselves went to his residence and honored him with Bharat Ratna.
LK Advani has played a very important role in the BJP party. Advani started his political journey as a volunteer of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). In 1947, he became the secretary of RSS. In the year 1970, he became a Rajya Sabha MP for the first time.
After the formation of BJP in 1980, Advani held the post of BJP President for the longest time. He was the Minister of Home Affairs from 1998 to 2004. Along with this, he was the Deputy Prime Minister from 2002 to 2004. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in the year 2015. He was also awarded the Bharat Ratna in the year 2024.
