Bhopal: The demand for creating new districts in Madhya Pradesh is rising rapidly. The map of many districts and divisions of the state can change, the government has formed a Reorganization Commission. The Reorganization Commission has been given the responsibility of preparing a framework by demarcating the division, district, tehsil, development block in the state afresh. Retired IAS Manoj Shrivastava and Mukesh Kumar Shukla have been appointed in this commission. CM Mohan had said that the number of districts in the state has increased, but there are discrepancies regarding the boundaries. They will be removed soon.
Now the demand for creating three districts in the state has intensified. At the same time, the demand to make Bina a district has been going on for almost 40 years, MLA Nirmala Sapre had joined BJP regarding this. But after she joined BJP, lobbying started to make Khurai a district. If Bina is made a district, then Khurai, Bina, Malthone Kurwai, Pathari, Bandri can be included in it.
The distance of Siroj from Vidisha is about 85 km, due to which it takes a lot of time for the people there to reach Vidisha for administrative work. By making Siroj a district, Lateri tehsil and Gram Panchayat Anandpur can be included in it. But it has also been suggested to include Anandpur in Guna district. Because the distance of Siroj and Guna from Anandpur is equal. Pipariya can also be made a separate district by separating it from Narmadapuram district, the distance of Pipariya from Narmadapuram is 70 km. During the assembly elections, the demand to make Pipariya a district had intensified. Dharna, demonstrations and strikes were also held to make this district.
