44 NATO bases of 16 European countries including Ukraine in the range of Russia’s new missile

New Delhi: Ukraine has once again fired the US missile ATACMS in the Kursk region of Russia. It has the support of NATO. Now it is feared that in the next 24 hours Russia can attack back with its new hypersonic Oreshnik missile. This time the attack can also be on NATO bases.

The Russian army has prepared the missile for attack. Just waiting for the green signal from President Putin. Putin has already warned that if any country uses long-range weapons against his land, then we will not delay even a bit in blowing up its military facility.

First let us know which NATO bases are in the range of this missile…

• Poland… This missile can attack the Lask Air Base here. The US Air Force is present at this place. Forward Operating Sites Powidz, Jagan and Poznan. There is storage of American weapons and equipment here. Redzikovo Base, the forward headquarters of the US V Corps and the base for US Aegis Ashore missiles.
• Latvia… Selonia Military Training Area, NATO’s largest training camp is located here.
• Lithuania… Rudninkai Military Base. This will be Germany’s potential permanent overseas base. It will house about 5,000 German soldiers. It is under construction.
• Romania… Deveselu Military Base, US Aegis Ashore missiles are stationed here. Mihail Kogalniceanu Military Base. This is NATO’s northeastern base in Europe. The US Army Area Support Group Black Sea Regional Command is based here.
• Bulgaria… Bezmer Air Base, it is a base and storage facility for US long-range aircraft. Novo Selo range where NATO soldiers are trained. Apart from this, Graf Ignatieff Air Base.
• Kosovo… Camp Bondsteel. It was established in 1999 when NATO bombed Yugoslavia and Kosovo. America’s largest base in the Balkan region.
• Finland… Mikkeli. NATO’s Multi Corps Land Component Headquarters is going to be built here. It is just 150 kilometers away from the Russian border.
• Sweden… Karlskrona Naval Base. NATO soldiers are present here to control the Baltic Sea.
• Germany… Ramstein Air Base. This is the US and NATO air base. This is the headquarters of US operations in this region and the Middle East. Spangdahlem Air Base, NATO Air Base Geilikirchen, Büchel Air Base (US nuclear weapons are kept here), US Army Garrison Ansbach, Bavaria, Rheinland-Pfalz, Stuttgart and Wiesbaden.
• Belgium… US Army Garrison Benelux and Klein Brogel Air Base (US nuclear weapons are kept here.)
• Netherlands… Volkel Air Base where US nuclear weapons are kept.
• Italy… Aviano Air Base where US nuclear weapons are kept. Ghedi Air Base, Sigonella Naval Air Station in Sicily and US Army Garrison.
• Greece… Naval Support Activity Souda Bay in Crete.
• England … Royal Air Force Lakenheath, Mildenhall, Alconbury, Molesworth, Croughton, Fairford, Welford, Wycombe and Portsmouth Naval Bases.
• Spain … Rota Naval Base, which is the permanent home of six US Destroyer Warships. Apart from this, Moron Air Base.
• Portugal… Lajes Air Base, here is NATO’s transatlantic logistics hub. To attack here, Russia will have to bring the Oreshnik missile closer to Moscow.

Power of Oreshnik missile…
It is a hypersonic medium range ballistic missile. Which can attack up to a range of 5500 kilometers while flying at a maximum speed of 12,300 km/hr. It has Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicles (MIRV) system. That is, it can attack multiple targets simultaneously. 6 to 8 weapons can be installed in it simultaneously. That is, it can attack so many targets at once.

Both types of weapons, i.e. conventional and nuclear, can be installed in this missile. It can change direction and angle while moving towards the target in the air, so that the enemy’s air defense system cannot stop it. It has been designed so that the enemy’s high-value military targets, strategic infrastructure and NATO defense system can be destroyed. Due to being hypersonic, radars are not able to detect it quickly.

This missile can destroy England in 19 minutes, Germany in 10 minutes
If this missile is fired from Astrakhan in Russia, then it will take 19 minutes to reach England, 14 minutes to reach Belgium, 11 minutes to reach Germany and only 8 minutes to reach Poland. The technology of this missile has been kept similar to the Soviet-era Pioneer (RSD-10) missile system. Which was abolished after the 1987 INF Treaty between the US and the Soviet Union.

Under this treaty, it was agreed that both countries would eliminate ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles. Especially those with a range of 500 to 5500 kilometers. By 1991, Russia had destroyed 2692 missiles. This included the Pioneer missile as well. But Russia still has its technology.

America and NATO do not have the power to stop this missile
Retired Colonel of Russian Army Victor Litovkin said that America and NATO do not have the power to stop this missile. Till now ICBM missiles were made hypersonic. But Russia has made medium and intermediate range missiles hypersonic. Its speed makes it the most powerful. Western countries do not have any missile that can fly at this speed.

America has missiles of programs like Dark Eagle and Opfire but they fly at a much lower speed than this. Russia currently has two missiles of this range. Oreshnik and Kinzhal. Apart from this, Avangard hypersonic missile flying at the speed of Mach 27.
