Chhatarpur. During the Sanatan Hindu Padayatra being taken out by Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, 10 to 12 people were injured due to the breakage of a roof eaves. Out of this, 5 to 7 people have been injured very badly. Due to this, they have been referred to the district hospital. A team of doctors is treating the injured in the district hospital. District Hospital Civil Surgeon GL Ahirwar said that three people have fractures in their hands and legs in the incident. A 10-year-old girl is also among the injured.
This accident happened when people were climbing the balcony to see the padayatra of Dhirendra Krishna Shastri in the old colony of Naugaon town. Suddenly the balcony collapsed in which many people were injured. It is said that at 8:00 pm, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri’s Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padayatra was in Naugaon town. Thousands of people were present in the procession. Meanwhile, some people living in Rangrez Mohalla of Naugaon town climbed the balcony to see this procession.

Manju Raja, one of the injured, said that many people were already present on the balcony. As soon as she reached the balcony, it suddenly broke and fell and screams started. People around started removing the people buried under the debris. As soon as the information was received, the local administration and police reached immediately. The injured were referred to the district hospital with the help of an ambulance. The people who were slightly injured were sent home from the Naugaon Health Center after treatment.
10-year-old Tanya Chaubey’s hand is broken in the incident. 40-year-old Manju Raja has a fracture in her hand. 45-year-old Varsha Soni is also seriously injured. All have been referred to the district hospital for better treatment. Civil Surgeon GL Ahirwar has said that some more injured may also come to the hospital for treatment. Our team is fully prepared.
