This time farmer Dilip Mistry and his companions have received a diamond of 7 carats 44 cents. The estimated price of this diamond is said to be around Rs 20 lakh. It will be put up for bid in the upcoming auction on December 4.
Farmer Dilip Mistry told that during the lockdown, he had started the mine by getting a lease from the diamond office for his farm. Since then, he and his companions have found more than a dozen diamonds. This is his second big diamond this year. Earlier also he had found a 16 carat diamond, which was deposited in the diamond office.
Dilip Mistry said that the happiness of getting a diamond cannot be expressed in words. He further said that he will use the money received after the auction for the education of his children and to make their future bright. Diamond connoisseur Anupam Singh said that this diamond is excellent in size, quality and shine. It will be put up for the upcoming auction, where its price will be fixed.
