Jharkhand’s first match in the Ranji Trophy is against Assam from October 11, which will be played in Guwahati. Ishan Kishan has a chance to win the trust of the selectors by scoring a lot of runs in this phase of the tournament and also performing well in wicketkeeping. If Ishan does this in the first 2-3 matches of the tournament, then his chances of selection for the Border-Gavaskar Test series on the Australia tour may increase. Ishan made his Test debut for India in the West Indies last year.
