New Delhi: Election activities are at their peak in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. While elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir for 90 seats in three phases on 18 September, 25 September and 1 October, in Haryana, people recorded their decision in EVMs in a single phase on 5 October. The election results of both states will be declared on the same day, 8 October.
Exit polls have predicted that this time Congress will form the government on its own in Haryana, while BJP may suffer heavy losses. If the exit poll predictions prove to be correct, then winning in Haryana after performing well in the Lok Sabha elections can prove to be a big lifesaver for Congress.
Haryana Election Exit Poll Results
Matrize has predicted 55 to 62 seats for Congress while BJP may get 18 to 24 seats. JJP, which formed the government with BJP last time, may have to suffer a lot this time. According to the Dhruv Research Exit Poll estimates, BJP may get 22-32 seats in Haryana, Congress 50-64, JJP, INLD and AAP 0-0-0 while others may get 2-8 seats.
According to the People’s Pulse exit poll estimates, BJP may get 20-32 seats in Haryana, Congress 46-61 seats, JJP 0-1, INLD 2-3 and others may get 3-5 seats. According to the Bhaskar Reporters Poll estimates, Congress may form the government in Haryana. Congress is expected to get 44-54 seats in the survey. On the other hand, the ruling BJP may have to be satisfied with 19-12 seats. INLD and BSP may get 1-5 seats and JJP and ASP may get 0-1 seats. There are a total of 90 assembly seats in Haryana.
Results of Jammu and Kashmir election exit poll
Voting was held on 90 seats of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the exit poll survey of Aaj Tak and C-Voter, the NC and Congress alliance is expected to get 40 to 48 seats. While BJP may get 27 to 32 seats, PDP may get 6-12 seats. On the other hand, others are expected to get 6-11 seats.
Congress-NC also leads on 47 seats of Kashmir region
According to the C Voter exit poll, BJP may get 0-1 seats on 47 seats of Kashmir region. On the other hand, the Congress and National Conference alliance is expected to get 29-33 seats.
Congress alliance leads in People’s Plus exit poll
In the People’s Plus exit poll conducted for Jammu and Kashmir, BJP may get 23-27 seats, Congress and National Conference alliance may get 46-50, PDP may get 7-11 and others may get 4-6 seats.
Congress-NC leads in Dainik Bhaskar exit poll
In the Dainik Bhaskar exit poll conducted for Jammu and Kashmir, BJP may get 20-25 seats, Congress and National Conference may get 35-40, PDP may get 4-7 and others may get 12-16 seats.
