    The Prasad available in Ujjain Mahakal temple is completely pure, revealed by FSSAI’s lab test

    Ujjain: The laddu prasad available in Ujjain’s famous Mahakaleshwar temple is completely pure. After the controversy in Tirupati, Mahakaleshwar laddu prasad was tested. The laddu prasad has passed 13 types of tests. No adulteration has been found in the prasad. The laddu prasad was tested in a state-of-the-art lab in Madhya Pradesh recognized by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. The test has revealed that there is no adulteration in the ghee and other ingredients used for the laddu.

    During the lab test, BR value, sugar, RM value, Tevra, FFA, formalin test, Boudin test, BR value, Polenske value, sponification value, iodine value, Bengal gram and starch synthetic food color were tested. According to Food Analyst Pradeep Tiwari, Technical Manager CES Analytical Research Service Neelam Upadhyay, the test report of the Prasad is up to the mark on all parameters.


    After chemical analysis, no adulteration was found in the ghee. Let us tell you that in the famous Devi Dham Salkanpur also, the Trust’s President Mahesh Upadhyay had raised questions on the quality of Prasad. However, the Prasad Center was inaugurated by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The center is run by a group of Didis. Later the matter was suppressed.

    After the Prasad controversy in Tirupati temple, the issue of tampering with faith had heated up. The Prasad available in the court of Lord Mahakal was tested. According to the lab report, no adulteration has been found in the quality of Laddu Prasad. It is worth noting that thousands of devotees reach Mahakaleshwar temple daily for darshan and worship. After Mahakal Lok Nirman, the number of devotees has increased tremendously. Devotees take the Laddu made by Mahakal Temple Committee as Prasad.
