New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited the residence of CJI Justice DY Chandrachud. There PM Modi participated in Ganpati Puja. The opposition had created a ruckus over this. Now the government source has justified Prime Minister Modi’s visit to CJI residence. Sources said that it is better to go openly than in secret. Also asked the question whether the judiciary of India is so weak that the judges will be influenced due to a meeting? He said that such thinking reflects a weak mentality.
Apart from this, the government source said that after the results of the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, there is no question of BJP’s alliance with Engineer Rashid’s party. Engineer Rashid is an accused under UAPA. Despite our objections, Engineer Rashid was released on bail. BJP cannot form an alliance with Rashid’s party.
On restoring statehood in Jammu and Kashmir, the government source said that restoring statehood is the priority of the government. Jammu and Kashmir was in trouble for 4 decades. While taking a decision on Jammu and Kashmir, what is happening in the neighbourhood (Pakistan) will also have to be kept in mind. The government is committed to restoring statehood in Jammu and Kashmir as soon as possible. This is a major priority of the Modi government. We hope that this will happen as soon as possible.
Regarding Jamaat-e-Islami, government sources say that we are keeping a close watch on the subversive activities of the Jamaat members. Apart from this, regarding the census, government sources say that they are considering whether a column on caste should be added in the next census or not. A final decision has not been taken on this yet. The matter is under consideration.
