Meanwhile, the next hearing of the Kolkata rape case will be held in the Supreme Court on September 9.
Earlier the hearing was to be held on September 5, but due to the Chief Justice’s bench not sitting, this hearing could not be held. At the same time, Sandeep Ghosh’s petition against the High Court’s order to get the corruption case in RG Kar investigated by the CBI will be heard in the Supreme Court on Friday.
Abhik and Virupaksha were accused of being present in the RG Kar seminar hall on August 9. Meanwhile, Virupaksha has been accused of establishing a ‘culture of danger’ in the medical college. Virupaksha Biswas is a senior resident doctor in the pathology department at Burdwan Medical College Hospital. The question arose as to why he went to RG on the 9th, what was he doing there.
