27 personalities from 23 countries selected for Pravasi Bharatiya Samman

New Delhi: This year 27 personalities have been selected for Pravasi Bharatiya Samman. The Ministry of External Affairs has announced the names of the winners. The personalities selected for this highest civilian award given to Indians living abroad live in 23 countries. They have also made notable contributions in many other fields including education, health business.

The winners include names of personalities like Baroness Usha Kumari Parashar from Britain (in the field of politics), Dr. Sharmila Ford from America for community service. The Ministry of External Affairs said that President Draupadi Murmu will honor the winners during the closing session of the upcoming Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference.
