    23 people from MP stranded in Nepal, appealed to the government for help

    Bhopal: 23 people from Madhya Pradesh are trapped in the flood in Nepal. All of them had gone to Katmandu in Nepal to visit Lord Pashupatinath. But they got stuck there, after which all of them have appealed to the central and Madhya Pradesh government for help. The 23 devotees include 7 from Dindori, 1 from Mandla, 6 from Jabalpur and 8 from Rewa. They say that the officials of the Indian Embassy are not helping. However, CM Mohan Yadav has assured help to everyone.

    A devotee told that there was heavy rain on Sunday in Mangaltar Pala area of ​​Kabre district between Sindhuli Valley and Kathmandu. We could not move forward due to the road being washed away. We told our problem to the local MP Faggan Singh Kulaste by phone. At the same time, the Chief Minister of Bagmati, Nepal, took us to Dhauli Khel Hospital on Monday with the help of a helicopter. After this, we were taken to Kathmandu.


    CM Mohan Yadav has assured help in the matter. He posted on social media and wrote, ‘Information has been received that a total of 23 passengers from various districts of Madhya Pradesh are stranded in the landslide in Nepal. The Madhya Pradesh government, with the help of the Government of India, has contacted the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and requested to make arrangements to evacuate everyone safely and send them to their destinations. I assure you that you do not worry, proper arrangements are being made to send you safely to your hometown.’

    The family that went to visit Pashupatinath from Jabalpur told that their family is stuck there due to heavy rains. The families trapped there released a video and appealed to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and said – we should be evacuated safely from here. Another devotee told that there is no arrangement for food and water here, nor any place to stay, all the belongings have been washed away in the flood. It is taking 18 to 24 hours to cross the border from Nepal to India.

    Jabalpur Collector Deepak Kumar Saxena has said that 22 people including 6 people from Jabalpur are stranded. All are safe. The district administration has issued a helpline number 07612623925. Apart from this, the affected families can also contact the nodal officer Joint Collector Anurag Singh on mobile number 9713813496 for help. Apart from this, Rewa Collector Pratibha Pal says that information has been received about 6 to 8 people from Rewa being stranded. We will coordinate through the government. Whatever is best for the return of these families will be done, because the matter is related to Kathmandu, so the best possible solution will be found by talking at a high level.
