2100 per month, two cylinders free and tribals out of the purview of UCC, Amit Shah opens a bundle of promises

Ranchi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today released the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sankalp Patra in Jharkhand. After releasing the Sankalp Patra, he also addressed a public meeting and fiercely attacked the Hemant Soren government. ‘Hemant government failed to provide security to women’
Shah said, ‘All records of the plight of women were broken in the Hemant government and Jharkhand stood second in trafficking of minor girls and kidnapping of women. There was a 42 percent increase in rape cases. Infiltrators are working under a conspiracy by usurping the land of tribal daughters. Our government will selectively throw out the infiltrators. Hemant Soren failed to provide security to women. Jharkhand is a state full of corruption. Have you ever seen 351 crores being recovered? More than 20 crores have been recovered from Alamgir Alam’s hideout.’

Attacking the state government, Amit Shah said, ‘During the Hemant Soren government, crimes against women in Jharkhand have increased by 29 percent and rape cases have increased by 42 percent. The Hemant Soren government has failed to protect women. The Hemant Soren government had promised to give jobs to 5 lakh youth every year. Today I have come to ask you for an account, forget about 25 lakh, just give me a list of 5 lakh youth… The youth of Jharkhand are angry with the Hemant Soren government and are looking for you.’

• Under the Gogo Didi scheme, women will get Rs 2100 every month on the 11th of every month.
• Cylinder for Rs. 500 and two cylinders free in a year (Diwali and Rakshabandhan).
• 5 lakh jobs in 5 years.
• 5 lakh employment opportunities created for the youth of Jharkhand within 5 years. About 3 lakh government posts will be filled in a fair and transparent manner.
• Every graduate and post graduate youth will be given Rs. 2,000 per month.
• Every poor will get a permanent house.
• UCC will definitely be implemented in Jharkhand and tribals will be completely out of it.
• Transparency in appointment to government posts. CBI and SIT investigation will be done in old cases.
• To promote tribal respect and identity, tribal religious and cultural places will be developed and grants and assistance will be given.
  A memorial of Lord Birsa Munda will be built in Jamshedpur.
