21 workers from MP died in firecracker factory, CM Mohan Yadav expressed grief

Banaskantha: 21 workers have died in a massive fire in a firecracker factory in Banaskantha, Gujarat. All the workers who died in the accident are said to be workers from Madhya Pradesh. 8 of them are from Handia in Harda district and 6 from Dewas have been identified. The remaining 7 people among the dead are yet to be identified. Harda district administration has formed a team under the leadership of ADM. For this, a team of administration and police has been sent from Harda to Banaskantha.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed deep grief over the untimely death of workers from Madhya Pradesh due to the explosion in a firecracker factory in Banaskantha, Gujarat. The Chief Minister said that the Madhya Pradesh government is in constant touch with the Gujarat government regarding the incident. All necessary efforts will be made to assist the workers and help the families.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has prayed to Baba Mahakal for the peace of the souls of the untimely deceased workers. According to the information, only storage was allowed at the place of the accident, but under its guise, a firecracker factory was being run in place of a warehouse.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar expressed deep concern, calling the explosion in the firecracker factory in Banaskantha, Gujarat, tragic. He said that many workers from Madhya Pradesh were involved in this incident, who had reached there two days ago in search of employment and were working on making firecrackers. Umang Singhar questioned the government and said that the government, which claims employment every day, has become so incompetent that workers have to migrate to other states for employment, where they even have to lose their lives.

He demanded a high-level inquiry into the incident and expressed the need to punish the culprits of negligence. Singhar demanded adequate compensation from the Madhya Pradesh government to the victim families and appealed for immediate treatment of the injured. Finally he prayed to God to grant peace to the departed souls and give strength to their families to bear this great shock, and also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
