Etah: Taking a big action, the Uttar Pradesh government has dismissed 24 employees who got jobs in a fake way between 1993 and 1995 in the collector’s office of Etah and Kasganj districts. All of them are accused of getting jobs through fake orders of the Revenue Board.
Fake appointment was done in 1995
It is said that in 1995, the then DM of Etah, Major RK Dubey, received a letter, in which the appointment of 24 people was ordered. Appointments were made on the basis of this order. A few years later, a complaint was made that this order was fake. After this, an investigation started and the Revenue Board clarified that no such order was issued.
The matter was postponed by suppressing the files
In this case, an attempt was made to postpone the matter by suppressing the files for a long time, but when a complaint was made again in 2019, a big revelation was made in the investigation. During the investigation, it was revealed that the employees who got the job through fraudulent means had made important documents disappear. After a thorough investigation by the DM, an SIT was formed. In its report, the SIT found the involvement of 30 employees, out of which 19 had retired, while four were still working. The government has dismissed them and ordered the recovery of salary and other benefits from the retired employees as well.
